Efficient Cooling System

The cooling system is an important factor in reducing the production cycle of a large 20L bucket.

Focare Mould designs efficient cooling channels around the mould according to the bucket geometry to improve heat transfer and maintain more uniform cooling during production.

For specific areas, BeCu inserts can also be considered where higher heat-transfer efficiency is required.

Stable Bucket Mould Structure

The mould structure is designed to maintain sufficient strength and stability during repeated injection production.

Wear plates can be applied to critical moving and contact areas to reduce wear and simplify future mould maintenance.

Depending on the product and production requirements, the bucket mould core can be designed using integral, inserted or combined structures.

Air-Assisted Ejection

Large bucket products can create vacuum resistance between the plastic part and mould core during demoulding.

To improve product release, the mould can incorporate a 360-degree air-blast system around the core area.

Combined with the mechanical ejection system, this helps reduce vacuum during demoulding and supports smoother automatic production.

Wall Thickness & Demoulding Control

The relationship between the core and cavity must be carefully controlled to maintain consistent bucket wall thickness.

Insufficient clearance or inappropriate demoulding conditions may cause excessive friction, deformation or damage to the bucket during ejection.
