2K Dustpan Mold Buyer Guide: PP+TPE Hand and Floor Dustpans

Focare Mould has published two PP+TPE dustpan mold examples: a hand dustpan and a floor dustpan. For buyers sourcing a 2K dustpan mold in China, the important questions are the soft-edge material, product dimensions, required output and fit with the available two-component injection machine.

The hand dustpan example lists PP+TPE, a 1+1 cavity configuration, a two-tip YUDO hot runner, German P20 mold steel rated HRC 30–33, mold dimensions of 610 × 860 × 555 mm and mold weight of 1,356 kg.

The same Focare product page lists a separate floor dustpan mold, also PP+TPE and 1+1 cavity, with a two-tip YUDO hot runner and German P20 steel rated HRC 30–33. Its reported mold dimensions are 600 × 730 × 571 mm and weight is 1,368 kg. The listed suggested machine is an FCS FB-260R. These are two distinct mold examples, so their dimensions and machine requirements should be confirmed for a new product drawing.

What should a buyer specify?

Dustpans often use a rigid body and a softer floor-contact edge. For a new two-color dustpan project, specify the desired edge contact, final dimensions, handle geometry, resin grades and expected annual production. The Focare examples use PP+TPE; if you need a different resin pair, the bonding and process plan need separate engineering validation.

Send a part drawing, target weight, 3D model if available, anticipated production volume, and injection machine details. The engineering review should confirm cavity layout, parting line, gates, ejection, cooling and whether the two-shot machine supports the proposed mold.
